From Collider "The Lord of the Rings: The War of the Rohirrim will be directed by Kenji Kamiyama, who started as an animator in such classic films as Jin-Roh: The Wolf Brigade, and Akira. He's best known for directing the cult classic anime series Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex (the good one, not the Netflix one)."
